Cameron Webb is a prominent Grammy winning producer, engineer and mixer based in Costa Mesa, CA. Born and raised Southern Californian, his passion for music started at an early age playing bass in various bands while growing up. After graduating Chico State and recording school, he began his professional career as a runner at Larrabee Studios rubbing elbows with the likes of Michael Jackson and Dr. Dre. His career grew exponentially while getting to work with multi-platinum artists like Limp Bizkit, Danzig, Godsmack, Tenacious D and Ben Folds to name a few. This parlayed into a solid career as an producer/engineer recording some of the greats who shape rock and roll history at its finest like Weezer, Sum 41, Social Distortion. He even developed a great friendship with local talent The Aquabats, producing, engineering and mixing 3 of their records over a decade.

In 2002, Cameron opened up his own studio in Orange County, CA called Maple Sound Studios. This studio became his home base and helped him deliver the rest of his career. This is the location Webb did all his mixing for the popular kids show Yo Gabba Gabba. To keep the music disparate in his studio, he also produced, engineered and mixed 7 of Motörhead’s latest albums, starting with Inferno. In 2005, Cameron won a Grammy award for engineering Kelly Clarkson’s megahit album Breakaway.

Recently, Webb has lent his producing and mixing skills to Alkaline Trio’s 2018 release Is This Thing Cursed?, as well as mixing Bayside’s upcoming album. Not too far into 2019, Cameron is already celebrating heavy metal band Megadeth’s release of Warheads on Foreheads, which he engineered. With over 2 decades worth of experience Cameron Webb is not slowing down and continues to enjoy being a part of the creative process that is changing generations.
